ACRE WOOD offers the heavy yet soulful vocals of Kira Rutherford to compliment the melodic crunch of Shawn Ray on guitars. The rhythem section of ACRE WOOD is drivin by Tony Voyles on drums as well as Gary Goodballet on bass.

ACRE WOOD is influenced by a wide variety of music.
Vocally there is Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks and Loretta Lynn?
On guitars you have Kirk Hammett, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmi Hendrix.
Drums are Bad Co., Rush and Led Zep.
And the bass is influenced by Quennsryche, Nine Inch Nails and Nikki Sixx.

ACRE WOOD is curently finishing the debut cd entitled 'FREAK'.
This will be a five song ep with a summer tour to follow.
